If there’s a temporary connectivity issue at the visitation, the QR poster remains valid: attendees can scan it and participate from home that same day. There is no single point of failure that could impact the funeral service.
What happens with families' personal data?
Lumina is fully GDPR-compliant. Participant data is never used for commercial purposes or shared with third parties. The capsule is a private space accessible only through a personal link — no public pages, no search engine indexing. 30 days after closing, all content is automatically deleted from the servers. The funeral home maintains full control of the service at all times.
